Terms of service

Updated 6 August 2026

These terms govern your use of KickPick.club. By signing in you agree to them. The service provider is Poggers Oy, registered in the Finnish Trade Register (Business ID 3171525-2, VAT ID FI31715252), Tohtorinpolku 3, 33720 Tampere, Finland; [email protected].

Service and game

KickPick.club is a football prediction game. Private friend groups draft cards with one owner inside that group; site-wide season competitions let each registered player independently select from the same shared deck. Match facts come from recorded fixture data and deterministic rules settle points. It is a free game of bragging rights. KickPick.club pays no winnings, offers no cash prizes or gambling service, and must not be used to organize real-money betting.

Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these terms; signing in confirms both. The 18-year limit applies because the game uses betting-style mechanics, not because KickPick.club is a gambling service: it stays free, pays nothing out and takes no stake. We do not ask for a date of birth and run no age verification, so your confirmation is a self-declaration; if you are a parent or guardian who wants an account removed, contact us and we will delete it. Playing requires a Google account. When you first sign in you choose a nickname and an avatar; the nickname must not already be in use or rejected by the local prohibited-name filter, it is the only name other players ever see, and it cannot be changed afterwards. KickPick.club generates a permanent public /players/<slug> address from it. Deleting your account is the only way to release the nickname; the address itself is never reassigned. Keep your session secure and sign out on shared devices. You may delete your account from your profile; it is also deleted after 13 consecutive calendar months without a sign-in.

Groups and invites

Groups are private, and joining happens through invite links. Except for an account permanently blocked from that lobby, an invite link works for anyone who holds it, so share it only with the people you want in the group. Before the draft starts, the group’s commissioner configures the matchday, including whether a missed turn gets an immediate deterministic card or becomes a player-selected catch-up pick before first kickoff. The commissioner may also remove another member, either allowing that account to rejoin or permanently blocking it from that lobby. If any current member deletes their account, or their account is deleted after 13 months of inactivity, every group that account created is permanently deleted for all members, along with its game history. Groups created by someone else keep running: that player’s name is replaced by a placeholder, the picks and points they already made stay in the results, and their remaining turns are skipped.

Crews

Up to 10 players may form a persistent crew that links the games its members create and announces new ones by email. The crew’s owner controls it, including deleting it: deleting a crew permanently deletes every game linked to it — including games created by other crew members — for all of those games’ players. By creating a game inside a crew you accept that the crew’s owner controls that game’s lifetime. If the owner’s account is deleted, the crew is deleted with it; the owner’s own games are deleted under the group rule above, while games created by other members are detached from the crew and continue as ordinary groups. Leaving or being removed from a crew removes only your own membership. When a member creates a game in the crew, the other members are told by email; you can switch these notifications off from your profile.

Site-wide season competitions

Anyone may browse an available site-wide competition and its leaderboard. Any signed-in player may register; your nickname, profile link, illustrated avatar and points then appear publicly in that leaderboard. Your public player profile also lists your current rank and points in each open competition you joined. You independently choose up to four cards for each fixture plus up to four round-wide cards; the same base card remains available to everyone. You may save and revise a fixture group until that fixture begins, while round-wide choices close at first kickoff. Each group stays hidden except from registered participants after its own deadline. Missing choices give you no points but do not remove you from the season leaderboard. A competition may also contain automated entries played by KickPick.club itself: they are always labelled as KickPick.club challengers, select from the same shared deck under the same deadlines, never hold a leaderboard placement and are never counted as players — places and medals belong to players only.

Your content and fair play

You keep your rights to names and other content you submit and grant Poggers Oy only the limited right to store, display and transmit it as needed to operate your groups, crews, site competitions and shares. You confirm you have the right to submit it. While using KickPick.club you agree to the following:

  • No automation, exploits or attempts to manipulate drafts, scoring or invites.
  • No unlawful, offensive, harassing, infringing or impersonating nicknames, group names or other content. Because a nickname is permanent, choose it carefully: if yours breaches this rule, deleting the account is the only remedy available to you, and Poggers Oy may remove the account itself.
  • No use of KickPick.club to arrange betting, cash prizes or other real-money play.

KickPick.club’s rights

KickPick.club — its software, design, name and logo, card catalogue, generated avatar illustrations and recap texts — belongs to Poggers Oy or its licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the service for your own non-commercial play under these terms; nothing transfers these rights to you. Match facts and odds-derived pricing come from licensed third-party sources and may not be extracted, scraped or republished outside the service.

Results and match data

Match facts come from a third-party data provider, and settlement runs on recorded evidence. A result can briefly show as pending or under review, and clear provider errors may be corrected afterwards; the stored evidence keeps every settlement reproducible. KickPick.club does not guarantee that fixture data is always complete, correct or on time.

Shared recaps

Recap texts are computer-generated summaries of results already settled by deterministic rules, written with the help of an AI language model when that feature is enabled. A recap may be worded imperfectly; it never determines or changes any result or points. Sharing a recap publishes a public result page that anyone with the link can open for 30 days. You are responsible for where you send the link.

Availability, changes and enforcement

KickPick.club is an early, free service. We may fix, change, pause or discontinue features or the whole service. Before discontinuing the service or making a material reduction, we give at least 30 days’ notice in the service where reasonably possible; urgent security or legal measures may take effect immediately. We may remove unlawful or rule-breaking content, and may suspend — or for a material or repeated breach terminate — an account that creates a security risk, abuses the service or breaks these terms. When we remove content or restrict an account, we tell the account holder what was affected and why, unless the law prevents it or the account cannot be reached; name moderation uses the automatic filter described in the privacy policy together with human review, and no enforcement decision is made solely by an algorithm. You can contest any moderation or enforcement decision by writing to [email protected] and we will review it. If we terminate your account, your data and the groups and crews you created are handled the same way as when you delete the account yourself, as described in the privacy policy. Paid features cannot be introduced under these terms alone; separate price, checkout, consumer and privacy terms are required before any charge.

Liability

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by mandatory law, Poggers Oy is not liable for indirect damages or losses caused by incorrect third-party match data, user content or temporary interruptions. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights or limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for intent or gross negligence.

Governing law and disputes

Finnish law governs these terms without removing mandatory protections available to you as a consumer in your country. Please first contact [email protected]. A consumer living in Finland always keeps the right to bring a dispute before the district court of their own home municipality. A Finnish consumer can also contact Consumer Advisory Services (kkv.fi/kuluttajaneuvonta) — the Consumer Disputes Board expects that contact first — and then submit the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi) free of charge; either party may also use a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

The current version and effective date are shown on this page. Material changes are announced in the service at least 14 days before they take effect; if a change requires new consent, we request it separately. Stop using the service before the effective date if you do not accept the change.
